Chief of Staff

The Chief of Staff is responsible for supporting the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and the Chief Operations Officer (COO) through a combination of project management, writing and editing, research, and high-level administrative and relationship support functions.
This role will serve as a key advisor and confidant, will coordinate special projects, compile information, and complete complex reports and analyses.
The Chief of Staff will interface with external stakeholders; therefore, a high level of professionalism, tact, and diplomacy are paramount.

Essential Functions:
Provides valuable insights, analysis, and recommendations to the CEO and COO to support decision-making processes.
They gather relevant data, conduct research, and prepare comprehensive reports on key issues, enabling informed choices.
Oversees and manages critical projects or initiatives, ensuring their successful implementation and monitoring toward goals.
Serves as the central point of contact, ensuring effective communication and coordination among different departments and teams within CBH.
Provides confidential and executive-level support to both the CEO and COO.
This can include drafting speeches, preparing presentations, and representing the executive in meetings or events when necessary.
They act as a trusted advisor, offering counsel and guidance on a wide range of matters.
Supports the day-to-day operations of the CEO and COO office.
This involves partnering with the executive assistant to coordinate meetings, handle correspondence, and monitor progress on key initiatives.
Researches and prepares materials, briefings, talking points, speech drafts, or presentations and proposals on a variety of matters for key internal or external audiences.
Prepares materials, and notes and ensures follow-up for various stakeholder meetings including staff, Board, or other meetings.
Drafts and edits various documents including internal/external correspondence.
Creates and maintains files, and reviews drafts and finished documents for accuracy and grammar, including documents of a sensitive or confidential nature.
Assumes responsibility, in the CEO and/or COO's absence, for ensuring requests for action or information, which would normally receive the CEO/COO's attention are made known to responsible managers or personnel who can satisfy the request.
Monitors resulting activity for the purpose of briefing the CEO/COO.
Assists in coordinating activities between the agency and various outside parties including CBH's primary contractor.
This includes managing oversight and data requests.
Under limited supervision, organizes and prioritizes tasks with demonstrated ability to multi-task, and synthesize information quickly and clearly.
Manages the CEO/COO's budgets.
Performs other tasks and duties as assigned by the CEO/COO.
Position Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor's degree required in business administration, management, public administration, or a related field.
Master's degree preferred.
Relevant Work
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in executive management, leadership, strategy, and operations.
Experience in healthcare or related field preferred.
Skills:

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
